Consulting / Shopify stores

Search improvements on the Shopify pages that sell.

For established stores that want more buyers from search. We work out which commercial searches are worth winning, improve the collection and product pages that should rank for them, and fix what's holding them back. Then I show you exactly what changed.

How to buy

The same services, applied to your store

Stores use the same SEO services as every other client. What changes is the pages involved: on Shopify, the commercial pages are usually collections and products.

SEO roadmap

$750 once

Your Search Console and Shopify data, keyword and competitor research, up to ten commercial search themes mapped to the collection or product page that should answer each, technical priorities and a 90-day plan.

Roadmap details

Roadmap + implementation

$1,500 once

The roadmap, plus up to five existing collection or product pages improved and up to three straightforward technical issues fixed, such as canonicals, duplicate collection paths or structured data. Every change is named in the quote.

Implementation details

SEO content

$750 or $1,250 /month

Two or four buying guides or collection and product page improvements each month, published and linked into the store, with a short monthly review. Month to month.

Content details

Quoted separately: Shopify store rebuilds and redesigns are not covered by the $1,500 website rebuild, which is for brochure-style business sites. Larger stores get scoped collection and product optimization with the same research process, priced for the storefront's complexity. Headless migrations, custom apps and paid ads are outside these services.

What's different on Shopify

The store-specific details

Filtering and duplicate paths

Collection filters, tags and product URLs nested under collections can create duplicate pages. Each collection change includes a check of how these affect indexing.

Product facts first

Product page changes are checked against real product facts and availability. Nothing is claimed that the product can't back up.

Collaborator access and previews

I work through Shopify collaborator access with permissions you control, and never need your password. Theme changes are previewed before you approve the release.

How it runs

Scoped first, released with your approval

  1. A short email or call

What you sell, what's working and who owns SEO today. If none of these services is the right shape, I'll say so.

  2. A proposal that names the pages

The service, the search themes, and for implementation the exact collections, products and technical fixes, with dates and acceptance checks.

  3. Access

Shopify collaborator access and read access to Search Console. Analytics access helps when it's available.

  4. Changes in preview

Theme changes are previewed first, and I check the affected collection and product journeys, links and canonicals before you approve the release.

  5. Release and record

The release you authorize, a before-and-after record of every change, and a plan for judging what the changes did.

Fit, expectations and questions

Who it's for: stores with real products and real demand

Shopify can already generate pages and product copy. What's harder is deciding which pages matter, getting the changes right in your theme, and checking what they did. That's the work you're paying for.

A good fit if

  • You run an established store with a useful catalog, where buyers compare and search before they purchase.
  • Your collections are thin, duplicated, or don't match the way buyers search.
  • Paid or social traffic carries the store, and you want organic search to do more.
  • You can share Search Console access and Shopify collaborator access.

Probably not a fit if

  • You sell one product, or run a generic dropshipping store.
  • You mainly need a redesign, a headless migration or a custom app. Those are quoted separately.
  • You want a volume of generic blog posts or a guaranteed sales increase.
  • Your product claims need specialist medical or regulatory review.
What to expect: implementation now, results over months

I report what was implemented separately from how search performance moved, so you can tell the two apart.

You can count on

The named pages and fixes implemented, checked in preview and after release, and documented change by change.

Nobody can promise

Rankings or revenue. Organic changes usually take 60–90 days or more to read, and seasonality, stock, pricing and competitors all move the numbers too.

How results are judged

Equivalent date ranges, the affected pages, and orders and enquiries as outcomes. Rankings and impressions are diagnostic signals only.

When the data is unclear

A before-and-after change doesn't prove cause. If the data can't support a conclusion, the review will say that plainly.

Can't Shopify's built-in AI do this?

It can draft copy. The work here is choosing which searches and pages matter, implementing changes correctly in your theme, checking for side effects, and measuring what changed.

Can you rebuild our store for $1,500?

No. The $1,500 website rebuild is for straightforward business sites. A Shopify rebuild or redesign depends on your theme, apps and catalog, so it's quoted on its own.

Who does the work?

You work directly with me. If a trusted collaborator handles part of the implementation, the proposal says so, and I stay responsible for the result.

We already have an agency.

That can work. Tell me which part they cover. If there's a backlog of search work they aren't getting to, the implementation option can take a defined piece of it.

Next step

Tell me about the store.

Email your store URL and the collections or searches that matter most. I'll reply with which service fits. If one does, we'll arrange a short call.
