Consulting / SEO optimization

Know what to fix first for search. Then get it done.

For businesses with a decent website that isn't bringing in enough customers from Google. I research how your buyers search, find what's holding your pages back, and give you a plan you can act on, or carry out the first set of changes for you.

Two options

A plan, or a plan with the first changes made

Both start with the same research. The difference is who carries out the first changes.

For teams who can execute

SEO roadmap

$750

One-time fee

A plan specific enough for you, your web person or your team to follow.

  • Keyword and competitor research for up to three priority services and three search competitors.
  • Up to ten keyword themes mapped to existing pages, or to new pages worth creating.
  • Technical priorities: what's stopping pages being found or understood.
  • A 90-day plan: what to do first, why, who does it and how to check it's done.
Ask about a roadmap

Not included: a website rebuild, major template repair, Business Profile reinstatement, link campaigns and ongoing development are separate scope. No fabricated reviews and no duplicate location pages.

How the research works

Evidence first, then priorities

Your own data

Search Console and analytics when they're available, so the plan starts from the searches and pages that already bring visitors.

Honest about certainty

The roadmap separates measured demand, keyword-tool estimates and judgement calls, so you can see how solid each recommendation is.

Local search included

For local businesses I assess your Google Business Profile as well as your website, and can set up a simple process for asking customers for reviews.

How it runs

From first email to finished changes

  1. A short email or call

What you sell, where your customers come from today and who can make website changes. If a roadmap isn't the right first step, I'll say so.

  2. A written proposal

The option, the services and market covered, the access I need, payment terms and dates. For implementation, the changes are named before you sign.

  3. Research and roadmap

Keyword and competitor research, the search-to-page map, technical priorities and the 90-day plan, walked through with you.

  4. Implementation, if chosen

The agreed page and technical changes, checked after they go live, with a record of what changed so you can see it for yourself.

Fit, expectations and questions

Who it's for: a good site with weak search coverage

Many sites look fine and still miss the searches that bring in work: the service pages are thin, the wrong page competes for a search, or a technical issue keeps pages out of Google. That rarely needs a new website.

A good fit if

  • You're an established business with services or products people actively search for.
  • Your site works, but customers find you mostly through referrals, ads or your name.
  • You want to know which pages and searches are worth the effort before spending more.
  • You can share Search Console or analytics access, or are happy to set it up.

Probably not a fit if

  • Your site is so dated it can't be improved sensibly. A website rebuild may be the better first step.
  • You want guaranteed rankings or a set number of leads.
  • You need a link-building campaign, profile reinstatement or ongoing development.
  • You run several large markets or a complex store. That's scoped separately.
What to expect: a clear plan, not a ranking promise

You can count on

A plan grounded in your market, with reasons and checks for every step. With implementation, the named changes made and verified.

Nobody can promise

Specific rankings, traffic or enquiries on a timetable. Search changes take time to show, and competitors and seasonality move the numbers too.

A roadmap is a plan

It tells you what to do. It isn't completed optimization until someone carries it out, which is why the implementation option exists.

What comes next

Your team can work through the plan, or monthly SEO content can build on it without paying for the same research twice.

Do I need a new website first?

Usually not. If your site can explain your services and collect enquiries, improving it is cheaper than replacing it. If it can't, I'll say so and the website rebuild may make more sense.

What if I don't have Search Console or analytics?

The research still works from keyword tools and competitor pages, and the roadmap says where that limits certainty. Setting up Search Console is often one of the first steps.

I sell on Shopify. Does this apply?

Yes. For a store, the commercial pages are usually collections and products. How it works for Shopify stores.

Who does the work?

You work directly with me. I do the research and recommendations. If a trusted collaborator helps implement, the proposal says so, and I stay responsible for the result.

Next step

Tell me what you want more of.

Email your website and the services or products you most want to sell. I'll reply with which option fits. If one does, we'll arrange a short call.
